2 consecutive days of cycling

Until now I had always had a rest day (or two) between cycle rides, this would mean any LEJOG attempt would take quite a while. A dinner invitation from Anna gave me the perfect opportunity to see if I could manage 2 consecutive days of cycling.

It was a round trip of just over 70 miles, along roads I was not that familiar with. There were quite a few ups and downs, but I made sure all roads with locks were avoided while keeping to as many small roads as possible.

I tried to vary the route back, but it was not that easy to do due to some of the large roads cutting through Surrey and Sussex. I started to flag quite a bit near the end, and it was a relief to start seeing some familiar names after I had crossed under the Bluebell Railway line.

It was a good cycle ride, and a fantastic BBQ.
