Also changed the way to make post sticky by changing to WP-Sticky and created some CSS code to mark a sticky post with a pin in the top right corner. Will be keeping an eye out for NextGEN Gallery, it looks really great. Have also been playing around with KML Viewer Plugin http://www.marcodeangelis.net/2007/01/31/kml-viewer-plugin-10/ but still getting my head around formatting of the code...
